There's no puzzle like our Monday crossword. This week's puzzle was constructed by Kate Hawkins and Rachel Fabi, and edited by Hoang-Kim Vu. Rachel and Kate went to the same college at (mostly) the same time and then worked for the same educational nonprofit but didn't meet each other until they started making crosswords nearly a decade later. They have since met J. Smith Cameron.

Defector crosswords, launched in partnership with our friends at AVCX, run every Monday. If you’re interested in submitting a puzzle to us, you can read our guidelines HERE.

If you liked this blog, please share it! Your referrals help Defector reach new readers, and those new readers always get a few free blogs before encountering our paywall.
